The Simplicity of Greatness
Greatness does not always arrive
with thunder in its stride.
Sometimes it is simply knowing
what no longer needs to hide.
It gathers from the memories
that somehow learned to align,
not to recreate what once was,
but to reveal what remains in time.
We carried visions across distances,
built worlds from sound and motion,
followed every changing current
until clarity became devotion.
And after all the reaching,
the shaping and becoming,
we found no distant summit—
only life already running.
A hand extended without demand.
A thought released without control.
A moment given room to breathe.
A quieter, stronger soul.
Perhaps greatness was never meant
to separate one from another.
Perhaps it grows most naturally
when we recognize each other.
No monument is required.
No final answer waits above.
Only the courage to remain open,
and the simplicity to love.
We do not become less
when we release the need to prove.
We become simply great
when greatness becomes how we move.
