What continues
does not simply follow.
It gathers what mattered,
releases what no longer belongs,
and gives the unknown
room to become.
The past leaves its knowledge.
The present gives it motion.
The future finds its form.
Not predetermined.
Not completely random.
Guided by what we recognize,
changed by what we discover,
and carried forward
by what we choose to create.
We do not have to see
the entire destination.
Sometimes the next moment
is enough.
And from there—
we follow what becomes.
