Cherishable Moments

Some moments arrive without announcement,
asking nothing more than to be lived.
They gather naturally within our presence,
becoming meaningful before we ever give them a name.

A cherishable moment does not need perfection.
It may begin with a glance, a conversation,
a movement through familiar surroundings,
or the sudden recognition that something ordinary
has quietly become extraordinary.

We do not have to hold these moments too tightly.
Their beauty lives within their movement.
They enter, evolve, and become part of what we carry forward—
not as something lost to yesterday,
but as something still shaping tomorrow.

Perhaps this is how memory becomes more than remembrance.
We discover what mattered,
rediscover it differently through time,
and allow its meaning to grow with us.

Some moments become memories.
Some memories become direction.
And some directions lead us toward experiences
we could never have discovered without everything that came before.

So we remain present enough to recognize what is here,
open enough to appreciate what is becoming,
and free enough to let each experience find its natural place.

Because the most cherishable moments
are not always the ones we planned to remember.

They are the ones we truly lived.
